Liv’s Dinner Party: Autumn Begins.

After an inspiring chat from an amazing Photographer friend, Emily Joan, I realised it was time to start documenting my life through photography. I’ve always loved capturing other people's memories, but somewhere along the way, I forgot to preserve my own—and that’s just as important. So, this weekend, I decided to turn the camera towards my world, marking the true beginning of autumn as seen through my eyes.

This weekend, autumn fell upon us well and truly.

Saturday began with pumpkin hot chocs and leaf-collecting, followed by autumnal decorating, bringing the outside in. We played with Pepper, and catched up with our old Uni friend George, who was staying with us. When James and Clare arrived, we lit the candles (black candlesticks for those gothic vibes) and served up edamame and a vegan katsu followed by pistachio mochi.

I love these photos. They capture exactly how it felt- intimate, joyful, cosy. Having these memories preserved means the world, and I can’t wait to print them and hang them up as a reminder of this beautiful start to autumn.
