Liverpool Maternity Photography- Formby Beach
When Marie reached out to me about having her maternity photos taken, I was thrilled. She truly understood my style and wanted natural, authentic photos of herself during her pregnancy. As a family and maternity photographer herself, she was even willing to plunge into the freezing ocean at Formby Beach to capture the perfect shot.
Marie told me she felt a deep connection to the water and ocean, and she was drawn to Formby Beach in Liverpool for her shoot. It was the perfect location for her vision.
On the day of the session, the weather was overcast and windy. While many people prefer clear, sunny days for the golden hour effect, we decided to embrace the moodiness of the weather. The wind added a unique atmosphere to the photographs, and we were so glad we went with it.
Marie brought two outfits from home, each reflecting her personal style. I especially loved the pink dress, a colour I don't usually photograph as I tend to favour earth tones. However, it worked beautifully and added a fresh, vibrant touch to the images.
